About Us

Thank you for visiting the St. Mary Parish Water & Sewer Commission No. 4 website. 

The system was originally created in 1958 under the name of St. Mary Parish Waterworks District No. 6. In 2007, the St. Mary Parish Council created the St. Mary Parish Water & Sewer Commission No. 4 to take over the operations of St. Mary Waterworks District No 6, St. Mary Parish Sewer District No. 7, St. Mary Parish Sewer District No. 9 and a section of the former St. Mary Parish Sewer District No. 10.

The system is governed by a seven member Board of Commissioners which are appointed by the St. Mary Parish Council.

Our goal is to provide safe, clean potable water and to properly collect, treat and dispose of wastewater for our residents.
